Darius Q Booking Guide

The Darius Q Advanced Booking Application is a free mobile app that allows you to plan your shopping trip by pre-booking convenient time slots at all the stores you wish to visit, ensuring you can shop safely and without the need to queue. It is easy to use and is available on both Android and IOS.

 

Booking your Shopping Trip

·         When you open the Darius Q app, a list of shopping centres and districts are displayed on the Home screen.

·         Select the shopping centre or district you plan to visit and the list of stores in that centre/district available for pre-booking will be displayed.

·         You can also use the Search facility to find a specific store.

·         You can filter this list of stores by date/time to display only the time slots that suit your plans.

·         Select the store and the date/time you wish to pre-book along with the number of shoppers (including yourself!)

·         Some larger stores may have further options available for pre-booking such as Returns, Click and Collect and dedicated 65+ time slots.

·         If this is your first booking you will be prompted to register* with Darius Q (name, email and phone number) before you can complete the booking. NB. You can edit your personal details at any time using the My Profile link on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

·         On completing your booking, a Confirmation Screen will display the details of your booking.

·         You can then add further bookings to your shopping trip by selecting “Add Another Store to Trip”. This will take you back to your selected shopping centre/district shopping store list from where you can continue to plan your trip.


 

Changing a Booking

        Select the Bookings option from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen to see a list of all your bookings in chronological order.

        Select the upcoming booking you wish to change and amend the details accordingly. NB. Should your plans change, you can cancel (delete) your bookings here.

        Once you have saved your changes, your booking will be updated and re-displayed in your Bookings list.

 

At the store…

Scanning In:

        When you arrive at the store at the time and date of your booking, you will need to scan in.

        Select the Bookings option from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen to see a list of all your upcoming bookings in chronological order.

        Select the booking for the store you are about to enter.

        Select Scan In to open the Scanning screen.

        Point your phone camera at the Entry QR code displayed at the entrance of the store to scan and register entry to the store.

If, for some reason, the Entry QR code doesn’t scan successfully, manually enter the code displayed underneath.

Scanning Out:

        When you have finished your shopping in the store, you will need to scan out.

        This is the same process as when you scanned in, except you need to select Scan Out to scan the Exit QR code that will be displayed at the store exit.

Q: What is Darius Q?

Q: How does it work?

 

A: Customers reserve a time slot for a store visit at a specific time and date. They don’t have to queue for the store allowing for a safer and more enjoyable shopping experience.

 

Q: How many slots will be made available for advanced booking?

 

A: This number will vary from store to store depending on size and capacity.

 

 

Q: Why do I need to register with Darius Q to use the app?

 

A: We need to ensure that there is a track and trace option available for each store.

 

 

Q: Can I enter a store without pre-booking a time slot?

 

A: Yes, of course. However, you may need to queue if the store has reached its

operating capacity.

 

 

Q: Can I stay in a store after the end of my booking?

 

A: Once at customer enters the store within their booking time slot they can carry out their shopping as they usually would. It is important to be mindful of the time to maintain a safe shopping environment for all.

 

 

Q: What happens if I miss my time slot?

 

A: You will need to make a new booking.

 

 

Q: Can I enter the store before the start of my booking?

 

A: If the store is below its customer capacity then, at the store’s discretion, you may be able to enter the store early. However, you should still Scan In and Scan Out.

 

 

Q: Can I change my timeslot?

 

A: Yes.  A booking can be changed by navigating to the bookings screen and choosing the edit option linked to the booking.  Only future bookings can be edited.

 

 

Q: What do I do if my phone will not scan the QR code?

 

A: Press on the text field on the scanning screen to open a keypad and manually key in the QR code.

 

 

Q: What does a green tick mean when scanning?

 

A: This means the QR code was successfully scanned.  The user can now enter the store.

 

 

Q: What does a red X mean when scanning?

 

A: This means the QR code was not scanned correctly or the user is trying to scan into a booking that is not linked to that store.  Ensure you are in the correct booking for the correct store and try to scan it again.  If that fails or key in the QR code use the manual entry option.
